5 Tips To Getting Your House Ready To Sell

A fresh coat of paint, adding the house to the MLS, and taking a few pictures and posting them to social media won’t get your home ready to sell. And it definitely won’t get you the most return on your largest investment. So, what should you not do before selling your house? Hey, I’m Tristan Colborg with The Denver Real Estate Agent, and I’ve got 5 things you need to do before you sell your house.

Marketing Your Home To Sell

The first thing you need to think about is exposure. No matter how hot the market is, the more eyes you get on your home, the better the return you will see. In fact, a statistic from the National Association of Realtors is that 67% of buyers will walk through a home that they see online. My digital marketing techniques make sure tens of thousands of people see your home! Additionally, we use various targeting techniques locally and outside of the area to ensure potential buyers see your home!

Hire A Negotiation Expert

The next thing you want to do is hire someone who is really good at negotiating. According to NAR, most agents sell fewer than two homes a year. I’m a certified negotiation expert, so I know how important it is to work with an experienced negotiator and agent who can help you get the most money and best terms for your home.

Other Things To Consider When Selling

The last things to consider are price, condition, and location. Here’s the deal – everyone thinks their home is worth more than it really is. And you all know there are sites, online that tell you what they think the value of the home is. Honestly, this often makes expectations worse! It’s totally normal, but these algorithms don’t consider upgrades, views, conditions, location, and more. All of these things can have a huge impact on the type of return you will get on your most significant investment, your home.

Hire The Right Realtor To Market And Sell Your Home

Everyone knows a realtor, but before you sell your home, find a real estate expert who will market your home. An agent with specialized training who negotiates on your behalf and understands the role that price, location, and condition play in the sale of your home. Here at The Denver Real Estate Agent we are highly trained in all of these areas and would love to help you sell your home. Again I’m Tristan Colborg with the Denver Real Estate Agent.com and eXp Realty, and I’m always here to help. Reach out anytime, even if you’ve just got questions. We’d be more than happy to help. And remember “You Deserve An Elevated Real Estate Experience”
