Moving Tips – 3 Tips To Help With Your Next Move

Video Transcript Below

Moving to a new home can be exciting but also an exhausting time. Many of the typical moving headaches can be easily avoided by finding the right movers and having a solid yet flexible moving plan. In this video, we are covering a few tips to help you with the moving process.

Hi, I am Tristan Colborg with The Denver Real Estate Agent.com and eXp Realty in Denver. If you have a move coming up in your future, here are a few moving tips to help make the journey just a little easier.

Moving Tip Number 1: Start Planning

The first thing we recommend to do before any move is to start making a plan. What items are you going to be keeping, donating, or can be throw away? There is no need to move unnecessary items to your new home; instead, start fresh.

Moving Tip Number 2: Compare Movers

Getting multiple quotes from moving companies helps make sure you have a good idea of your move’s cost. Just make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Do their services include packing items, supplies, how many staff hours, or insurance on your belongings.

Moving Tip Number 3: Get Supplies

One of the best ways to help make a move less stressful is by having the right supplies. Get multiple sizes and thicknesses of boxes, 3-inch packing tape and gun are a lot better than standard tape, box labels, and kraft paper for wrapping items. All these will help get items to your new home safely and make unpacking easier.

I hope these tips help make your upcoming move just a little easier. And if I can help you find your next home to move in, please feel free to reach out. I’m Tristan Colborg with the Denver Real Estate Agent.com, and remember, you deserve an elevated real estate experience.
