About Northglenn

Northglenn, located 15 minutes from downtown Denver, is close to the events and attractions of a major metropolitan area. The Denver International Airport is only 25 minutes away east on Interstate 70. As you turn west, you will be greeted by the majestic Rocky Mountains, which are just a half-hour away by car.

There is a distinctive sense of community that is not found in many modern cities because of the quality of planning, development, services, and volunteers. Northglenn still has many of its original residents from when it was incorporated in 1969. More than 39,000 Northglenn residents enjoy quiet neighborhoods, nearby schools, convenient shopping, parks, lakes, open space, and outdoor recreation facilities.

Northglenn is connected to the carefully planned Greenway Trail System. More than 35 miles of trail systems link the off-street paths in Denver with larger trail systems encompassing the whole metro area. In addition to the parks scattered throughout the city, Northglenn has open spaces where residents can participate in hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. Aside from its fantastic restoration and redesign, Northglenn’s Webster Lake and E.B. Memorial Park recently received American City and County Magazine’s America’s Crown Community Award. There are playgrounds and multi-use trails in the park and stunning flower beds.

The newly constructed Northglenn Recreation Center offers something for everyone with a 300-seat theatre, weight room, gymnasium, several pools with water slides, pickleball courts, and more. Also nearby is the Boondocks Food and Fun location in Northglenn. The activities available are bowling, laser tag, bumper boats, minigolf, go-karting, and a restaurant.
